The Connie Mack League games will be played on City of Cleveland Fields at

Brookside, Crossburn, Gordon, Luke Easter, Mohican, Raus, W.C. Reed and Tremont

Total Regular Season Games:     13                     10 teams are in the 2008 League.

Breakdown of games:      Play each opponent in your division twice + play each opponent in the other division once = 13 total games

Playoff Plans:                 The top (4) teams in each division are in the single elimination playoffs.

                                                TEAM WITH BEST RECORD IS HOME TEAM IN PLAYOFFS.

ROUND TWO – ALL GAMES ARE AT 6:00 P.M.

Game # 5          Winner of Game 1          vs.        Winner of Game 2          Thursday July 24 @ Tremont # 3

Game # 6          Winner of Game 3          vs.        Winner of Game 4          Thursday July 24 @ Tremont # 2

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – AT 7:00 P.M. @ BROOKSIDE TALTY FIELD

Game # 7          Winner of Game 5          vs.        Winner of Game 6          Thursday July 31 @ Talty Field

 

Tiebreaker Guidelines:    If the tiebreaker is needed for first place –

1.)           Head to Head Competition

2.)           One game playoff

 

Other team ties that do not involve first place –

1.)           Head to Head Competition

2.)           If teams split – least runs given up in head to head games

3.)           Coin Flip

 

Awards:                          Division Winners receive a team trophy

                                                Playoff winner receive a team trophy + individual plaques.

                                     

All Star Game:                 Our All-star game is on Thursday August 7TH at Brookside Talty Field.

                                                American All Stars will play the National All stars at 7:00 p.m.

 

Championship Game:      Our championship game on July 31 will be videotaped by TV 23.

                                                It will be shown in August on the Time Warner Cable Network – Channel 23.

 

We are not sending our representative to a state tournament.
