THE 2008 R.B.I. SENIOR GIRLS FAST PITCH LEAGUE

 The R.B.I. Senior Girls Fast Pitch League games will be played on City of Cleveland Fields at

Gordon Park Field # 4 on Mondays, Gordon Field # 5 on Wednesdays and Morgana Field # 1

 PLAN OF PLAY        

9 teams are in the 2008 League.

 Breakdown of games:            Play each opponent in your division twice + play each opponent in the other division once. 

Total Games: American Division = 12 games  National Division = 11 games

 

 

Playoff Plans:                         The top (4) teams in each division are in the single elimination playoffs.

                                                TEAM WITH BEST RECORD IS HOME TEAM IN PLAYOFFS.

Game # 4          4TH Place - National        vs.        1ST Place – American      Monday July 21 @ Morgana # 1

ROUND TWO – ALL GAMES ARE AT 6:00 P.M.

Game # 5          Winner of Game 1          vs.        Winner of Game 2          Wednesday July 23 @ Gordon # 5

Game # 6          Winner of Game 3          vs.        Winner of Game 4          Wednesday July 23 @ Gordon # 5

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – AT 6:00 P.M. @ BROOKSIDE ROSE FIELD

Game # 7          Winner of Game 5          vs.        Winner of Game 6          Monday July 28 @ Brookside Rose Field

 

Tiebreaker Guidelines:           If the tiebreaker is needed for first place –

1.)           Head to Head Competition

2.)           One game playoff

 

Other team ties that do not involve first place –

1.)           Head to Head Competition

2.)           If teams split – least runs given up in head to head games

3.)           Coin Flip

 

Awards:                                  Division Winners receive a team trophy

                                                Playoff winner receive a team trophy + individual plaques.

                                     

All Star Game:                        Our All-star game is on Wednesday August 6TH at Brookside Rose Field.

                                                American All Stars will play the National All stars at 7:00 p.m.

 

Championship Game:             Our championship game on July 28 will be videotaped by TV 23.

                                                It will be shown in August on the Time Warner Cable Network – Channel 23.
