CLEVELAND’S LITTLE F BASEBALL PROGRAM

PLAN OF PLAY FOR GLENVIEW PARK – G.Y.A.A. LEAGUE

The Little F baseball’s League at Glenview Park consists of 5 teams!

·       G.Y.A.A. Barons

G.Y.A.A. Crawfords

G.Y.A.A. Black Sox

G.Y.A.A. Grays

G.Y.A.A. Buckeyes

Breakdown of games: Each team will play each opponent three times + (2) independent games

vs. G.Y.A.A. league opponents = A total of 14 games

Barons & Buckeyes play an extra game vs. Good Samaritan Athletics

(This game will not count in the standings for the Barons and Buckeyes)

Playoff Plans: The top team qualifies for the single elimination city playoffs.

Of the remaining teams citywide that do not make playoffs – The next (2) teams with the best record will make the post season playoffs.

COIN FLIP WILL DETERMINE THE HOME TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.

ROUND ONE: First round playoff games will be played on Wednesday July 16^TH

ROUND TWO: Second round playoff games will be played on Monday July 21^ST

ROUND THREE: Third round playoff games will be played on Wednesday July 23^RD

Tiebreaker Guidelines: If it is for first place –

1.) Head to Head Competition

2.) One game playoff

Other team ties that do not involve first place –

1.) Head to Head Competition

2.) If teams split – least runs given up in head to head games

3.) Coin Flip

Awards: Park Champion receives a team trophy.

City Champion and City Runner-up receive individual trophies for their players.

All-star Day: The Youth Baseball All Star Day is scheduled for Saturday July 12^TH at

Brookside Park in the afternoon.
