CLEVELAND’S LITTLE F BASEBALL PROGRAM

PLAN OF PLAY FOR LUKE EASTER PARK NATIONAL LEAGUE

 The Little F baseball’s National League at Luke Easter Park consists of 9 teams!

         

              Larry Doby Division  

 

 

Jackie Robinson Division

 

Alexander Hamilton Recreation   

Central Recreation

Fairfax Recreation

Earle B. Turner Recreation

Thurgood Marshall Indians

Ken Johnson Recreation

Zelma W. George Recreation

Lonnie Burten Recreation

Thurgood Marshall Yankees

 

                                                                                               

Breakdown of games:      Each team will play each opponent in their division two times +

Each opponent in the other division once = A total of 11 games for the

Larry Doby teams and 12 games for the Jackie Robinson teams.

Playoff Plans:                 The top 2 teams in the Jackie Robinson Division and the top team in the Larry Doby Division qualify for the single elimination city playoffs.

                                                Of the remaining teams citywide that do not make playoffs – - - - - - - - - - -

The next (2) teams with the best record will make the post season playoffs.

COIN FLIP WILL DETERMINE THE HOME TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.

 

ROUND ONE:                 First round playoff games will be played on Wednesday July 16TH

 ROUND TWO:                 Second round playoff games will be played on Monday July 21ST

ROUND THREE:             Third round playoff games will be played on Wednesday July 23RD

CITY CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: Monday July 28 at Brookside Rose Field at 6:45 p.m.

Tiebreaker Guidelines: If it is for first place –

1.)           Head to Head Competition

2.)           One game playoff

 

Other team ties that do not involve first place –

1.)           Head to Head Competition

2.)           If teams split – least runs given up in head to head games

3.)           Coin Flip

Awards:                         Park Champion receives a team trophy.

                                       City Champion and City Runner-up receive individual trophies for their players.

All-star Day:                  The Youth Baseball All Star Day is scheduled for Saturday July 12TH at

                                        Brookside Park in the afternoon.
