There is a change in game sites for Rich Koblentz baseball games
tomorrow
June 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the Maplewood
and Loew Park league. Those changes are:
Estabrook Recreation
vs. Gunning Park Recreation at Tremont # 4
E.J. Kovacic Recreation
vs. Kennedy / Urban Aces at W.C. Reed #2
2. The RBI tryouts for the Junior
Boys tournament team is this Saturday at Gordon Park at 1 p.m. For
those trying out – report by 12:30 p.m. to register. The forms and
paperwork will be delivered to your center today.
3. If you have not called in to
register - Please call in and register today with Varrick Fuller at
338-4907. When calling to register - They need to leave their name,
birthdate, position, telephone number and their Rich Koblentz team
name.
4. Just a few reminders for a

5. The website is currently up to
date except standings in Rich Koblentz West League. We are working on
correcting the problem. If you wish to have a weekly e-mail sent to
you with the hotline information, please send an e-mail to
twells@city.cleveland.oh.us
6. All managers should have
called Joe Wise of the Cleveland Baseball Federation at 861-4767 for any
equipment or uniform issues.
7. The Cleveland Baseball
Federation website has our season schedule posted. The game scores will

6. The base distance is 65 feet and
the pitching distance is 50 feet for the Junior Girls Slow Pitch
league. Umpires may use discretion on the pitching distance if they see
the pitcher is having trouble getting the ball over.

OUR CHAMPIONSHIP Game is scheduled to be shown on time warner cable
tv 20 beginning Monday August 4 through Sunday August 10. I DO NOT

PLANS
3. TEAM PRACTICE:
All-star practice will be held on Monday August 4TH
at Brookside Talty Field (National all stars) and at Brookside
Rozanski Field (American all stars) at 6:00 p.m. Players are to
bring their own bat and catcher’s gear.
PRACTICE EQUIPMENT:
Coaches of the All-star teams – Please bring your team equipment for
practice.
COACHES:
Please call your own players and make sure
they attend the
team practice on Monday August 4TH
at Brookside Park at 6 p.m.
UNIFORMS: Each player
and coach will receive an all-star shirt for
this game. Players are to wear their own team uniform except the
jersey.
NO TROPHIES:
We will not distribute all-star trophies this year. We
will give each player their all-star shirt
with their last name printed on the
back of their all –star shirt.
ALL STAR GAME:
All-star Game will be held on Wednesday
August 13TH at Brookside Talty Field at 6:45 p.m. Players
are to report at 6:00 p.m.
